What we process, and why

• Account and order data (name, e-mail address, billing address, company name and VAT ID if you give them, what you bought, price, payment method, date). We need it to make and fulfil the contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Invoices and accounting records. The law obliges us to keep them (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• Support e-mails, so that we can help you and keep the history of a problem (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• Technical data such as your IP address and browser in the server logs, for security and to prevent abuse (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We send e-mails about your order and your support requests. We send newsletters only if you subscribe to them.

Payments

PayPal handles PayPal payments. We never see or store your card details. For a bank transfer we see the data that your bank sends us with the payment.

Who receives your data

Our hosting provider, PayPal (for PayPal payments), and the authorities where the law requires it. We run our own invoicing system. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Your account stays until you ask us to delete it, unless we must keep some data longer. Order and invoice records are kept as long as accounting and tax law require. Other data is kept only as long as the purpose needs.

Cookies

This shop uses only the cookies it needs to work: your session, your cart, and your language and currency choice. We use no tracking and no advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, for correction, deletion, restriction of processing and a copy of your data, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to info@ocex.eu. You can also complain to the data protection authority; in Slovakia this is the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky (dataprotection.gov.sk).
