A closable bar above the header for announcements, with a date range and automatic localised links.

A schedulable, clickable message strip at the top of the shop: a sale, holiday closing hours, a shipping deadline – changed in minutes, in every language, without a developer.

With the module

What it does

• The text is per language; a language with an empty text shows no bar.
• A display period with a start and an end date (the end date itself is still included).
• The link can be a category, a product, an information page, the contact page or your own URL – the right link for each language store is built for you.
• Background colour, text colour and font size; the bar stays on top while scrolling.
• Visitors can close it for a number of days – but if you change the text, everyone sees it again.

See it in action

Every OCEX extension runs on our public demo store – the pictures come from it, and you can click through the real thing.

Works well with

• OCEX Banner – Banner groups as a mosaic, a slider or a strip, with captions and per-image links.
• OCEX Sale Countdown – A live countdown to the end of a special price, on the product page and in product lists.
• OCEX Menu – A header menu with your own items, drop-downs and images that replaces the stock menu.

What you get

• The extension package (header_notification-2.0.0.ocmod.zip) for OpenCart 3 – install it under Extensions > Installer.
• One licence covers one shop (multistore included), with 12 months of updates and e-mail support.
